Covid 19 Safety Plan

Hello everybody!

We are humbled and grateful to finally have this opportunity to introduce the Lunch Lady to our neighbors on the Drive as well as the city of Vancouver. Given the current situation with COVID 19, we would like to assure everyone that we are doing everything in our power to keep you as well as our staff safe.

Based on the suggestions by the provincial health officer and WorkSafeBc, we have implemented the following safety procedures for your peace of mind.

  • We are operating at above 50% capacity, but with proper social distancing in place with tables at 2 meters apart where necessary. 

  • Plexiglass has been installed where necessary, tables have been removed, and remaining tables placed at 2 meters apart.  There will be rigorous sanitation of all barriers as well as all high touch areas. Sanitation schedules will be in place.

  • Rules regarding worker conduct regarding safety protocols will be in place.

  • Guests will be required to use hand sanitizer, as well as have their temperatures taken upon entering.

  • Staff have all been trained and specific systems put in place to accommodate the requirements and expectations of this time. All suggested guidelines provided by the local health authority will be followed.

  • Both guests and staff will be screened for good health and not admitted if any signs of illness are shown.

  • Guests are encouraged to use their mobile devices to view the menu, or a single use menu will be provided.

  • A record of guest attendance will be requested (name and phone number) and kept should contact tracing be necessary. 

  • Please respect the necessity of these new systems as we work to get accustomed to these requirements.  We will treat everyone with the utmost respect in these regards and we expect the same in return.

  • We will be checking proof of vaccination cards/QR codes along with a government-issued photo ID upon arrival at our restaurant.

  • Please do not enter if you show signs of any of the following symptoms: 
    - Fever or chills 
    - New or worsening cough  
    - Shortness of breath
    - New muscle aches, pains, or headache
    - Sore throat
    - Have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days
    - Have come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
